Center City Gifts Grant For WT’s New Parking Lot in Downtown

West Texas A&M’s main campus is in Canyon, with an ever-growing presence in Amarillo, and their most recent gift is dedicated to the university and to downtown as a whole.

The Center City of Amarillo presented WT with over $89,000 in grants and used the latest gift to complete a parking lot in downtown Amarillo.

Beth Duke from Center City talked about the purpose of the grant and how it benefits the Amarillo area.

Dr. Walter Wendler, President of WT, shares the benefits of the parking lot for WT students and the city as a whole.

With the semester set to begin, the new lot is a welcome addition to the school for every student preparing to return to the Amarillo facility.
