City Leaders Vote To Move On From Miller, Name Andrew Freeman Interim City Manager

At 3:55 this afternoon, Amarillo City Manger Jared Miller was relieved of his duties by a 5-0 vote during a special public meeting.
After hearing public comment, including that of former mayor Paul Harpole, Mayor Cole Stanley called for a vote.
Andrew Freeman, who Mayor Stanley said has filled in for Miller at times, specifically during the floods, will serve as Interim City Manger.
The council will offer details of the search next month, most likely September 12.
