City Receives Award For City Plan-Vision 2045

The City of Amarillo Vision 2045 City Plan received the 2024 Texas Planning Award for Comprehensive Planning from the American Planning Association Texas Chapter.
According to a press release, the APA award recognizes plans that advance the science and art of planning in the State of Texas.
Director of Planning Emily Koller calls the award an honor, adding, “The success of City Plan – Vision 2045 is due to the response of the Amarillo community and our residents wanting to have a say in their future and their goals for the city.”
