CoA Purchases Sinclair’s Warehouse

The purchase of Sinclair’s Warehouse, located at 601 South Johnson, was approved during Tuesday Afternoon’s Council meeting.
The building, which was purchased for $690,000, will go to be overflow storage for the City of Amarillo and the Amarillo Civic Center and could serve different uses if the Civic Center Bond is passed in May.
The purchase contract includes a one-year lease with the BGT Productions Trust II
Assistant City Manager Kevin Starbuck about the purchase.
Funds for the purchase came from the Hotel Occupancy Tax.
