COA Receives Grant to Resurface Tennis Courts Across City

Tennis players in Amarillo will soon have 19 newly resurfaced tennis courts thanks to a grant from the United States Tennis Association and USTA Texas.
USTA awarded $53,000 in Tennis Venues Service grants to the City of Amarillo to help with the renovations.
USTA Texas added an additional $16,000 bringing the total to $69,000, all of which will go towards resurfacing 14 courts at the Amarillo Tennis Center as well as 5 at the Memorial Park Tennis Courts.
The Amarillo City Council approved the plans at their meeting on April 11th.
