Cocaine Seized After Traffic Stop In Carson County

Nearly 5 pounds of cocaine was seized after a traffic stop in Carson County.
Around 7:40 pm Saturday, DPS troopers stopped a 2018 Hyundai Elantra traveling east on I40 for a traffic violation and discovered 2 vacuumed sealed blocks of the drug under the back seats.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Carson County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance.
The drugs allegedly were being transported from California to Ohio.
