Community of Christ Church Fire Ruled Arson

The Community of Christ Church was deemed a total loss after a fire Thursday night.
The Amarillo Fire Department responded to the church near South Manhattan Street and I-40 to see the building consumed in flames.
Crews were not able to enter the church and were forced to put it out from the outside.
The Amarillo Police Department has arrested one person in connection to the fire.
Amarillo Fire Marshal’s Office responded and have yet to determine a cause for the fire at this time and a total of 8 units responded.
