Freight transportation truck on the road at golden hour
The Texas Department Of Public Safety is reporting a man died following a two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-40 Wednesday at 11:55 p.m.
Troopers say 59-year-old Russel Mullican while driving a pick-up truck, failed to drive into a single lane and hit the back of a semi, legally parked on the shoulder.
Troopers say Mullican was driving erratically and failed to keep his pick-up truck with a trailer in a single lane and rear-ended the semi.
Mullican was pronounced dead by Wheeler County J.P. Rick Walden and no other injuries were reported.
