Dalhart Police Department Kicks off it’s “Home Grown” Program

The Dalhart Police Department is taking applications for its “Home Grown” Program.
Approved applicants will be sent to the Police Academy at South Plains College.
The academy will run from May 11 through August 19.
The program is focused on producing officers who want to make Dalhart their home.
Anyone who is interested in the program will need to fill out an application packet by January 24.
