Dalhart Police Searching For Woman

Dalhart Police are looking for a woman on the run from them who escaped from their custody at 10:43 p.m., Wednesday night.

Police say Amanda Lynn Cole escaped after they attempted to arrest her. at 1109 Channing, when they say she sicced her dog on them. The dog charged them allowing the woman to escape out of a back door.

Cole who is also known as Amanda Lynn Armijo is described as being five feet tall, and 150 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a blue dress with a dark blue cardigan with a hoodie, and cheetah print pants with brown boots and glasses.

They’re also warning that anyone who is helping her to avoid police will also be charged.
