Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department Fights Wildfire on Sunday Evening

The Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department was called to a wildfire on Farmed and Market Road 1727.
The fire broke out on the side of the road 13 miles west of Dalhart on Sunday evening.
Four fire units responded to the call and were able to contain the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and remains under investigation.
