At 5:15 a.m. a Chevrolet Camry was traveling southwest bound on US Highway 54 one mile southwest of Texhoma.

The Camry was passing another vehicle and hit a Chevrolet Traverse head-on.

Both vehicles caught fire and only the passenger of the Traverse was able to get out before the vehicles were fully engulfed in flames.
