Disaster Request Ochiltree County

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has submitted a disaster request for the residents of Ochiltree County.

The request is handed off to the Small Business Administration for those who were impacted by violent weather in Perryton, on June 15th.

The announcement comes after the State of Texas decided the damage caused by a tornado, reached the threshold level for a Presidential Disaster Declaration.

Governor Abbott says the disaster declaration will be an important step to help the Perryton community to rebuild their homes and businesses.

If approved the SBA will provide low-interest loans for Ochiltree and adjacent counties.
