Documentary: “Amarillo’s 100th Police Academy”

The City of Amarillo premiered a unique screening of “The Amarillo 100th Police Academy” for the media this afternoon.
The one-of-a-kind documentary takes you behind the scenes of the academy while following five recruits as they evolve from ordinary citizens to dedicated police officers.
The media-only presentation today featured two of the five parts that make up this documentary.
The public will be able to view Part 1 of the documentary beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday. The other parts will be posted every Thursday until the November 16 conclusion.
