Dog Attack Leaves Amarillo Woman In Critical Condition

An elderly Amarillo woman is recovering from a dog attack.

Monday Glenda Cates was in her back yard when her neighbor’s dog broke through a fence and attacked her.

Cates was rushed to a local hospital and is now recovering from surgery for a broken wrist along with receiving skin grafts on her arm.   

Her dog was also injured in the attack and was in need of veterinary care.

The family is asking for help with all the unexpected medical expenses the attack has caused and has set up a GoFundMe page.

Cates is currently in critical condition, the dog involved in the attack is in quarantine and the investigation continues.
