Fire crews rescued a dog last night after he had fallen into an abandoned cesspool in Randall County.
Canyon and Randall County fire crews responded to Hungate Road and South Western Street at 8:20 p.m. on a report that a hunting dog had fallen into the underground pit.
It’s estimated the pit was about 25 feet deep.
After about an hour and a half the dog was rescued without any injuries.
