Doncic, Tatum Earn NBA Player Of The Week Honors

Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Celtics forward Jayson Tatum are the NBA Players of the Week.

Doncic earned the Western Conference honors for the second time in his career after leading the Mavs to a 3-and-0 record during Week Three of the season.

He averaged 30.3 points, 12 rebounds and 11.3 assists in wins over the Rockets, Nuggets, and Magic.

Tatum grabbed the Eastern Conference award after helping Boston to three consecutive wins while averaging 33 points per game.

The Celtics have won four straight overall but are currently on pause due to COVID-19 issues.

Boston’s game Sunday against Miami was postponed and Tuesday’s contest at Chicago has also been called off as the team deals with COVID-19.
