Downtown Women’s Center’s Good Samaritan

In a beautiful story from those at the Downtown Women’s Center a local donor had given an entire room full of various items to the DWC.

But after doing so, realized she had accidentally included a tablecloth that had long been in her family.

The DWC searched and posted pictures and rewards for the blanket, but after it was set out and bought back in November 2020. It was never brought back.

On May 28th this year, a woman came into the DWC who had hand sewn a replica tablecloth based on the fliers for the lost heirloom.

DWC will bring the two women together on June 7th at 10am to meet and take pictures.
