Drug Bust in Carson County on I-40

One man is in jail after a traffic stop in Carson County.
On Wednesday at 2:59 p.m. Troopers with the Texas Highway Patrol stopped a pickup truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 for a traffic violation.
During the stop, 101 pounds of marijuana was found in the truck bed.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Carson County Jail.
It is believed the drugs were being transported from California to Florida.
