Drug Seizure in Carson County

The Texas Department of Public Safety seized 437 pounds of THC, Thursday afternoon following a traffic stop in Carson County.
At 1:15 p.m. a DPS trooper, stopped a 2021 Chevy Tahoe, going east on I-40 near Conway for a traffic violation.
A DPS canine was brought to the scene and alerted on the vehicle, that’s when the trooper discovered 140 glass jars of THC concealed inside a lot of boxes in the second and third-row seats of the SUV.
Fifty-Nine-year-old John Caruso, of Redondo Beach, California was arrested and charged with felony possession and booked into the Carson County jail.
The drugs are re[ported to be on their way from Los Angeles to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
