DSHS and Walmart To Host Fall COVID Pop-Up Event

The Texas Department of State Health Services will host a COVID-19 vaccine outreach and education pop-up event in the Walmart parking lot to encourage families to get vaccinated and boosted as soon as possible to protect themselves and their community.
The outdoor event will feature family-friendly activities such as costumed luchadores performing educational skits, a photo selfie wall, and arcade-style basketball and spinning wheel games.
Attendees can walk into the Walmart pharmacy and receive free COVID-19 vaccines and boosters with no appointment, insurance or ID needed.
The event will take place Thursday September 22nd at 4610 Coulter from 3pm until 7pm.
