Early Morning Structure Fire Randall County

Amarillo fire crews worked an early morning structure at 4:40 a.m. Friday morning.at Loop 335 and Highway 136.
When fire crews arrived on scene they found the building fully engulfed with fire spouting out of the roof.
The roof partially collapsed, but crews re-entered the building, to put the blaze out.
Fire officials say after the fire was brought under control, they found one person dead.
The person’s identification is being held back until next of kin notification.
Seven fire trucks and 12 firefighters from PCFR responded. Potter County Sheriff’s Office, Amarillo Medical Services, and the Potter County Justice of the Peace Gary Jackson also responded to the fire.
