Enrollment Up At Amarillo College Due To Thrive Scholarship

As Amarillo College kicks off the fall semester, numbers show an increase in enrollment.
The 5% growth over 2018 numbers is being attributed to the new Thrive Scholarship Program.
The Thrive program is a full scholarship for Amarillo Independent School District graduates that covers tuition, books, and fees for up to 60 credit hours at AC, regardless of a family’s income.
The partnership with AC, the Amarillo Area Foundation, the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, and AISD accepts graduates from all four AISD high schools, beginning with the graduating class of 2018.
