Extension Of The Eviction Moratorium During The Pandemic

The Center For Disease Control Director Rochelle P. Walensky is issuing an extension of the Eviction Moratorium.
The extension will halt residential evictions until at least March 31, 2021.
Walensky says the Covid 19 pandemic has presented a historic threat to our nations health and has triggered a housing affordability crisis that disproportionately affects some communities.
The Director also says “we must act to get the cases down and keep people in their homes and out of congregate settings, like shelters, where Covid can get take an even stronger foothold
