Get ready for the end of summer and the start of fall with the first-ever Behavioral Health Community Block Party event on Saturday, September 30th, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is presented by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Amarillo VA Health Care System, Amarillo College, Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health, and Andrea’s Project.

Festivities will kick off with a special Flag Raising Ceremony sponsored by Northwest Texas Healthcare System Behavioral Health at the Amarillo VA Medical Center, followed by a Memorial Mile Walk/Run around the medical center and a car and motorcycle show.

Amarillo College campus will have live music from Lindsey Lane and Touching Voodoo, food trucks, family fun, a resource fair, a pet parade, and more.

The event will take place at both the Amarillo VA Medical Center, located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd W, as well as Amarillo College’s West Campus, located at 6222 W 9th Ave.
