Former Nazareth Superintendent Killed in Car Crash

The former Superintendent of Nazareth Independent School District has died after a single-vehicle crash near Childress on Thursday night.
Fifty-nine-year-old Glenn Earl Waldo was traveling eastbound on US Highway 287 in a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck.
For unknown reasons he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guard rail head-on four miles west of Childress.
Waldo was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
