Four Indicted On Fentanyl Charges

According to court documents, Gary Eugene Carlisle, Robert Tucker Witt, Rebecca Ann Schmitkons and Julian Gabriel Apodaca were indicted by an Amarillo grand jury Thursday on charges of conspiring to distribute fentanyl, and possession of fentanyl.

Records show Carlisle was arrested earlier in August after Amarillo police found fentanyl and guns in a motel room he was staying in.

APD also seized more than $3,700 found in a storage unit and an apartment on Bell Street.

If convicted, the four will forfeit all property – including firearms and ammunition – secured by officers that was used to commit the offenses.
