Friday COVID Report Card

The Amarillo Public Health Department released its new COVID19 report card on Friday.
It features weekly data for Potter and Randall counties, total COVID19 data since March 2020 as well as the most recent COVID19 hospitalization information.
From March 11th to March 18th, Potter and Randall County reported 16 new cases of COVID19 with 32 recoveries and four related deaths.
Potter County reported 11 new cases of COVID19, 3 related deaths and 19 recoveries.
Randall County reported five new cases of COVID, one related death and 13 recoveries.
The Amarillo Area Hospitalization Rate is at 1.4% in our area.
The City of Amarillo confirmed the first two positive COVID19 cases in the Amarillo area on this day two years ago.
