Fritch Woman Dies from Car Accident

An April 1st car crash between a woman and a vehicle in Fritch has left the woman dead.
Fritch police say they were called out to the accident at 8:30 p.m. to West Broadway and North Longwood.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the woman had been hit by a Chevrolet SUV, that had been traveling eastbound on Broadway, in the left lane.
Police go on to say the pedestrian stepped out in front of the SUV.
Life-saving techniques were given to the woman, but she later died from her injuries.
The woman’s identity is being withheld until notifying next of kin.
An investigation continues.
