FSA Administrator Confirms Third Tranche of 2019 MFP Payments

Ag Secretary Sonny Purdue announced on Monday that farmers who signed up for the Market Facilitation Program would be getting a 3rd round of payments, despite the signing of the phase one trade deal with China and the passage of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
I was able to speak with FSA Administrator, Richard Fordyce, about this news. He says producers across the country have told him these payments have been crucial for keeping their farms in business.
