Governor Abbott Appoints Sunray Superintendent to the Texas Broadband Development Council

Governor Gregg Abbott has appointed Marshall Harrison of Sunray to the Texas Broadband Development Council.

Harrison is one of 15 appointed to the council that was formed in the last legislative session to aid rural areas that do not have easy access to internet or telecommunication capabilities. 

Harrison is the current Superintendent of Sunray Independent School District and is a graduate of Howard College and Tarleton State University.

The council member’s terms will expire on August 31, 2024.
