Hunger U; Ag Education for University Students

The Farm Journal Foundation, based in Washington D.C., is dedicated to “sustaining agriculture’s ability to meet the vital needs of a growing population through education and empowerment.”

To do that, they host a wide variety of events. One of the most popular events is Hunger U – a student led “traveling classroom” that visits Universities across the U.S. with the goal of educating them on agricultural processes.

Farm Journal Foundation CEO, Tricia Beal visits with Ag Director Shannon Gray about the success they have had over the last 9 years of the program, and what this year’s participants can expect to see.
