Kress ISD Employee On Leave After Conduct Allegation

Kress ISD is investigating an employee for improper conduct involving a student. The district sent out a press release bringing this investigation to light.

According to Kress ISD Superintendent Leah Zeigler, Thursday, August 29, the district was informed that an employee may have engaged in improper conduct with a student.

The district contacted the Swisher County Sheriff’s Office to let them know about the allegation. Other authorities were notified as well as is required by law and district policy. 

The employee has been placed on administrative leave while that investigation is conducted.
