Lil Wayne Amazed To Hear ‘Lollipop’ Lyrics He Forgot He’d Written
With 13 studio albums, one collaborative album, five EPs, and over 20 mixtapes, it’s likely Lil Wayne would forget some of his lyrics.
The legendary rapper was shocked when he heard lyrics to his hit song “Lollipop” that he forgot he’d even written.
While sitting down with Fox Sports presenter Darnell Smith, Wayne was shocked to hear one of Smith’s favorite lyrics from the song.
“Safe sex is great sex/Better wear a latex/’Cause you don’t want that late text /That ‘I think I’m late’ text.” Smith recited the line from the “Lollipop remix.”
“I said that?!” Wayne responded shockingly. “I didn’t know I said it or why I said it, but I said it.”
The clip went viral with many of Wheezy’s fans chiming in about his G.O.A.T status.
