Amarillo’s llano cemetery is taking part in this year’s wreaths across America celebration

Cemetery executive director Mark Blankenship says the wreath laying started out at Virginia’s Arlington National Cemetery in the early 1990’s  Mr. Blankenship says the program has grown

 


Blankenship says Llano Cemetery is teaming with the tiger squad of the local civil air patrol to lay the wreaths across the

graves of local fallen soldiers buried there. the wreath laying takes place on December 14 at 11 a.m at the cemetery’s field of valor.
