LWV Celebrating National Voter Registration Day

The Amarillo League of Women Voters will be celebrating National Voter Registration Day.

On September 19th, the League will be registering voters at Amarillo Public Libraries at the Downtown location from 10:00 to 2:p.m., the Northwest branch from 3:00 p.m. to 7;00 p.m.

The Southwest Branch from 3;30 to 5;00 p.m.East Branch from 4 to 7;00 p.m. and the North Branch from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 

To register to vote you must be 18 years old, be a citizen, and not convicted of any felony or have completed your sentence.

Deputy Registrars will only register people in Randall and Potter counties.

In 2022, the league registered over 600 voters.
