Man Arrested After Shooting At Cowboy Motel

One man is behind bars after a shooting on East Amarillo Boulevard.

Just before 6pm on Sunday March 13th, Amarillo Police Officers were sent to the Cowboy Motel on an aggravated assault call.

Once on scene they discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Homicide detectives interviewed witnesses which led to the arrest of Ronald Allen Austin was later booked at the Potter County Jail for Murder.

This case is still under investigation by the Amarillo Police Homicide Unit.
