A man who was arrested in Lamb County for leading police on a high-speed chase in September has been identified as a person of interest in a murder case that took place in Dimmitt.

Fransico Martinez is believed to be connected to the murder of 42-year-old Raquel Salinas, who was found dead in an abandoned vehicle on August 27.

Martinez has been transferred to the Castro County Jail for the investigation. He has also been indicted by a Lamb County grand jury for kidnapping and evading arrest in a motor vehicle.
