Man Arrested On Burglary and Criminal Mischief Charges

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office announced one individual has been arrested on burglary and criminal mischief charges.
On March 29th at 4 pm the department received a call of a burglary in progress that involved an altercation between the property owner and the suspect.
When deputies arrived at the 5000 block of North Folsom street they found 38-year-old Christopher Chapa fleeing the scene on foot through an open field.
Chapa was arrested on charges of Burglary of a Building as well as Criminal Mischief, and he was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
