The Amarillo Police Department’s Narcotics Unit busted a man Monday night for delivering heroin to an undercover agent.

47-year-old Paul David Irwin was arrested after he met an undercover agent and sold them heroin in a parking lot in the 5700 block of South West 45th.

 Irwin was also arrested for outstanding warrants for delivery of a controlled substance from his delivery of heroin to an undercover agent on other occasions.

He was booked into the Randall County Jail for the warrants and the original charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, a first-degree felony.

He faces life or any term not more than 99 years or less than five years in prison, and a fine of up to $10,000.
