Memphis Parents Face Charges After the Death of Their Infant Son

Two people are facing charges after the death of an infant on November 7 in Memphis Texas.
The investigation began when one-month-old Kaytou James Edward Carney was found dead in a trailer house located at the Berkley RV Park 1316 West Nole Street.
The father of the child 22-year-old Chaz Edward Dean Carney was arrested the following day and is now being charged with capital murder.
The mother 19-year-old Lillian Christine Stuehrk was also arrested and is now facing a first-degree felony charge of Injury to a Child.
Both Carney and Stuehrk remain in the Hall County Jail.
The case is still under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Department and the Texas Rangers.
