Mitchell to become the Full-time Chancellor of Texas Tech

Texas Tech University Chancellor Tedd Mitchell will step down as president of the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
On November 1 Mitchell will take on the full-time role as chancellor of the university system.
Mitchell has served as the president since 2010 and has held dual positions as chancellor and president since last year.
Chief Academic Officer of the Health Sciences Center Lori Rice-Spearman will serve as the new interim president.
