Mobile Home Sales Increase After Wildfires

The Amarillo Home Center says the sale of mobile homes has doubled in the past two months since the Panhandle wildfires.

Home Center officials say they’ve sold more than 50 homes in March and April combined, when they normally average around 16 homes a month.

A majority of the homes have been placed on the land of wildfire victims who are in the process of rebuilding.
