Moore County Sheriff Not to Seek Re-election

Moore County Sheriff J.E. “Bo” DeArmond announced that he will not seek re-election.

“It has been my greatest honor to serve as your sheriff. To my staff, I will greatly miss you. Thank you for all your hard work and everything you do to make the Moore County Sheriff’s Office run so efficiently,” said Sheriff DeArmond. 

 DeArmond has held the position and title for 16 years. He is also the longest-serving Sheriff in Moore County history.
