Moore County Sheriff’s Office Receives Two Grants

The Moore County Sheriff’s Office has been approved for two grants that will provide more service to the county. 

The STEP Grant was awarded by the Texas Department of Transportation that will pay off-duty deputies to work traffic enforcement in high-risk areas.

The JAG Grant was awarded by the Office of the Governor that will provide funds for an additional investigator in criminal cases. 

These programs will help alleviate taxpayer costs with certain items or positions that are needed.
