Moore County Sheriff’s Office Rescues Kidnapping Victim

Moore County Sheriff’s Office is being recognized after rescuing a victim of kidnapping.
Officials said officers from the Cactus Police Department were sent to a home on a kidnapping call on January 18 and learned of the description of the suspect.
Once on scene deputies heard screaming and crying coming from the trailer coming from a female victim.
When they tried to enter the home, the suspect said a can of pear mace had exploded and deputies were unable to breather but were able to take the suspect into custody.
Sheriff Morgan W. Hightower honored the deputies saying they were able to identify the suspect, locate the home and intervene within minutes of the kidnapping.
