Motorcycle Fatal

A fatal motorcycle crash on South Georgia Street May 6th involving a car.

The wreck happened at 5;04 last evening (May 6th).

Twenty-three-year-old Gregory Luke Galyon was attempting a wheelie on Northbound Georgia while the driver of a Ford Edge was traveling Southbound.

Galyon lost control of the cycle and was thrown into oncoming traffic.

He was taken to the hospital where he died as a result of the injuries from the crash.

Police say Galyon was wearing a helmet.

The crash is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police.
