Murder Suspect Arrested

Amarillo police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with last week’s murder of Kendrick Freeman.

Police officials say they’ve arrested Artrell Jamon Travis for the January 17th murder in the 26-hundred block of Grand Street

Travis was booked into the Randall County Jail.

Freeman was found shot to death in an apartment complex in the 41 hundred block of SW 45th street on January 16.

Police say the investigation is still on-going.
