National Sorghum Producers React to U.S.-China Signing of Phase I Trade Deal

The Phase One Trade Agreement between the U.S. and China has been long awaited. On Wednesday, however, the waiting was over as President Donald Trump signed the agreement with China.
The phase one deal, according to the Trump administration, is worth an extra $40-50 billion annually over the next two years in U.S. agricultural sales to China.
While this is a major win for agricultural producers across the country, Vice Chairman for the National Sorghum Producers Kody Carson says it’s a step toward keeping U.S. Sorghum in the Chinese Import Portfolio.
