New Chief Academic Officer For Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center has a new academic head.
The school school announced on Tuesday, Dr. Darrin D’Agostino was named provost and chief academic officer of the school.
Dr. D’Agostino comes to Texas Tech from Kansas City University, where he served as the executive dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the vice provost for academic affairs.
He previously served at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
In addition to managing the health sciences center, Dr. D’Agnostino will also sit as chair of the school’s academics council.
He begins duties immediately and replaces interim provost Dr. Michael Evans, who heads the university’s school of nursing.
